Printable St. Patrick’s Day Circle Time Props
One of our themes during March is St. Patrick’s Day, when we add some fun shamrock activities to our classroom.
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know how strongly I feel about using props during circle time.
Especially with toddlers and young preschoolers who have short attention spans.
I created these St. Patrick’s Day circle time props that teachers and students can hold while reading and singing.
Assembling the Printable St. Patrick’s Day Circle Time Props
What you will need:
I suggest either printing these on heavy paper or laminating them for extra durability.
Make enough copies so that you have one shamrock stick for each student and yourself.
Cut out the desired amount of shamrocks and gather your popsicle or jumbo craft sticks. After cutting them out, tape them to the top of a popsicle stick.
Using the Printable St. Patrick’s Day Circle Time Props
Make enough shamrock sticks so that each child has one, plus the teacher who is leading circle time.
While you read St. Patrick’s Day books and sing related songs, invite your children to hold their shamrock sticks in the air.
