Furniture Brand Language Lessons

Swedish furniture brand IKEA is giving kids the chance to tune into lessons to Learn Swedish with IKEA, simultaneously taking some of the pressure off of parents to ease boredom at home. The three bite-sized classes are just a few minutes long and they cover Geography, Family and Nature, as well as how to pronounce some of the names of IKEA products.

Through the short educational series, kids will learn that GNARP, a three-piece kitchen utensil set, gets its name from a Swedish town and KOLJA mean “haddock.”

As kids and families struggle to adjust to homeschooling or learning from home part-time, these fun and educational lessons promise to keep young minds occupied and growing, while giving back a few moments to parents in between lessons or after a day of virtual schooling.
